This is the first time we have been on a ferry with our RV. We actually traveled with 2 other 45ft RVs. The process of buying tickets to getting on board was flawless. We won’t lie we were a little nervous bringing on 13’ 6” RVs on board but the staff made it a breeze
We would definitely do this again, the experience will last a life time.
Very nice! Shaved off an hour and a half off of our trip too. There's a gift shop, playground, bar/restaurant, and free mini golf. To play mini golf, you'll need to go inside, give your ID and they'll give you the balls and clubs. You'll get your ID returned once you've returned the mini golf equipment.
First time doing a ferry ride with a vehicle. It was smooth getting on & off. Staff was very efficient, pricing was reasonable. Really fun to walk around while traveling & view the sunset. Absolutely worth it! Cut an hour off of a drive from DE to head back north through NJ.
The staff was great. The ferry ride was relaxing.
Good experience, food & drinks available on the ferry as well as plenty of seating.
Went here during the winter and enjoyed cutting our travel to NJ by nearly two hours but to really enjoy the outdoor deck I suggest visiting during the warmer months as all you'll want to do during the cold season is hunker down in your vehicle and sleep with a warm blanket. The process itself was easy you just go to the booth show the attendant your reservation and you'll be guided to a lane to wait prior to departing. I also suggest grabbing a warm beverage if you're traveling during the cold season.
Fantastic, friendly staff! Easy vessel to navigate by vehicle or foot!
Breathtaking views, fairly priced food ranging from breakfast-dinner, snacks, bar, gift shop and more!
Staff always has a fun bit to share about the boats history so don’t be afraid to ask fun questions!
Ended our vacation by taking the Ferry. Also happened to be my son's first birthday. Staff are friendly and the experience is phenomenal. Rode it as a kid when I was about 7 so it was nice to share that same experience with my son. Definitely will be taking it again on our next vacation to Wildwood.
